London was initially shortlisted as a potential venue, but the UK was ruled out due to cold weather conditions at this time of the year. The BCCI is focused on securing a location that can comfortably accommodate all 10 franchise delegations and the production teams from Jio and Disney Star, who are broadcasting the event.
